Subsidy Program
We believe that no child should go hungry, and every child deserves access to healthy meals at school. To support this mission, we offer full subsidies to families, helping ensure that each child can enjoy ONE nutritious hot or cold lunch per service day.
Who is eligible? This subsidized meal program is designed to assist families experiencing food security challenges or financial hardships—whether due to ongoing circumstances or temporary changes in employment or access to food.
To qualify:
• Your child must be enrolled in one of our elementary schools.
• Your family’s situation fits one of the following:
o Loss of regular income or employment.
o Low or limited income.
o A parent or caregiver is managing a medical condition that impacts their ability to work or care for the child.
Information collected in the form by the Mission Public Schools under s.26(a) and (c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be used by the Feeding Futures program to help setup your account that meals will be ordered through. This information will be shared with the Feeding Futures Manager, your child's Principal and select staff at Simply Foods, so that they may support your family with this program.
